Essential storage

BetLogic uses a small set of browser storage to operate the site. This storage is always active and is not affected by your analytics choice.

• A signed-in session cookie (bl_session) if you create an account or log in — an HttpOnly session cookie used for authentication and not readable by page JavaScript.
• The privacy-choice storage itself — see "How your privacy choice is stored" below.
• Basic technical storage used for security and delivering the site correctly.

How your privacy choice is stored

When you make a choice in the cookie banner or Cookie settings, BetLogic saves it in your browser: the full choice (which categories you accepted) in local storage under bl_cookie_consent_v1, plus a small first-party cookie named bl_cookie_consent that holds only a version marker, no personal data.

This storage exists only to remember your own decision so you are not asked again on every page. It is itself essential and stays active whether or not you enable optional analytics.

Optional analytics — off by default

Analytics is the only optional category BetLogic currently asks about. It is off by default and only turns on if you choose "Accept analytics" in the banner or turn it on in Cookie settings.

When enabled, BetLogic uses analytics to understand traffic and usage patterns and to improve the site and the football analysis experience. The analytics vendors are Google Analytics 4 and PostHog, both described below.

Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is not loaded and causes no network activity until you accept optional analytics. Before that point, BetLogic does not load Google's analytics script and does not send it any measurement.

Once you accept, GA4 loads and may set its own first-party cookies (typically named _ga and a per-property _ga_ cookie) to distinguish visits and measure usage. BetLogic does not enable Google's advertising or personalization signals from this consent — those remain switched off regardless of your analytics choice.

PostHog

PostHog is a product-analytics tool BetLogic also loads only after you accept optional analytics — the PostHog code is not downloaded to your browser before that point.

BetLogic has session recording turned off for PostHog. PostHog may use its own local storage/cookies (typically prefixed ph_) to recognize repeat visits once analytics is enabled.

Vercel Web Analytics

Separately from the consent above, BetLogic uses Vercel Web Analytics for an aggregate, cookieless measurement of overall site traffic — it does not use cookies and works independently of your analytics choice. This is a different kind of measurement from the consented Google Analytics 4 / PostHog analytics described above, not a replacement for it.

How you accept or reject analytics

• On your first visit, a banner offers all three choices on this first layer — Reject optional, Manage preferences, and Accept analytics — so you can reject directly without opening settings.
• Manage preferences opens a short settings panel showing Necessary (always on) and Analytics (off unless you turn it on), with the same Reject optional / Save preferences / Accept analytics actions.
• Closing the banner or the settings panel without choosing does not count as acceptance.

Changing or withdrawing your choice later

Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer at any time to reopen your preferences and change or withdraw your analytics choice.

When you withdraw analytics consent, BetLogic stops further analytics collection going forward and clears the Google Analytics cookies it can identify (_ga and the per-property _ga_ cookie) on this site. It does not touch your signed-in session or your saved privacy choice.

If you reject optional analytics

Core BetLogic usage — browsing Daily Matches, predictions, tools and your account — remains fully available whether or not you accept optional analytics.

Affiliate operators

When you click an affiliate link, the destination operator may set its own cookies or tracking technologies. Those are controlled by the operator, not by BetLogic.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out of your account or reset your saved privacy choice, since those rely on essential storage.
