Vinícius Suspended for Four LaLiga Matches: El Clásico Ban Confirmed

Why Vinícius received a four-match suspension

The Spanish football federation's disciplinary committee imposed a four-match LaLiga suspension on Vinícius Júnior following his red card against Villarreal on 10 October. Two matches were imposed for violent conduct after he pulled Nathan Saliba's hair during an incident away from the immediate contest for the ball. The committee added another two matches for his reaction toward the referee after the dismissal. The decision was announced on 14 October and represents a more serious sanction than a standard one-match ban.

Will Vinícius miss El Clásico?

Under the current ruling, Vinícius will miss Real Madrid's LaLiga matches against Sevilla, Barcelona, Racing Santander and Valencia. That includes El Clásico on 25 October. Real Madrid intends to appeal, meaning the suspension should be described as the current disciplinary decision rather than an outcome that cannot change. The ban applies to domestic league competition and does not automatically prevent Vinícius from appearing in the Champions League.

What happens next?

The next development is the appeal process. Unless the decision is reduced or overturned, Real Madrid must prepare for several league fixtures without Vinícius. The sporting impact is particularly significant because the suspension includes the meeting with Barcelona. Any further disciplinary decision should be reflected in this article without creating a second page covering the same incident.
